Stacy
Pearson, C.P.A., M.P.A.
Vice President for Finance and Administration
Stacy served as Associate Vice President for Finance and Administration at
Boise State for eight years. Last August, after a thorough nationwide
search, she was appointed Vice President for Finance and Administration by
Dr. Robert Kustra, replacing Buster Neel, who left the University in January
of 2004.
Stacy oversees the university's financial and administrative operations,
including budget and planning, student financials, accounting and financial
reporting activities, purchasing, contracting, debt financing, capital
projects and treasury, facilities planning and operations, human resources,
information technology and auxiliary operations. |

During her tenure, Stacy has revamped nearly all of BSUs financial systems
to allow for improved delivery of services. She was the project director
for the institution's initial conversion to enterprise software, leading to
Boise State University's national recognition as a leader in utilizing
PeopleSoft student administration, human resources and financial systems
software.
Stacy received her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration
with an accounting major from the University of Idaho and Master of Public
Administration from Boise State University.
Prior to joining the Boise State team, Stacy worked at Oregon University as
Director, Internal Audit Division; Idaho State Board of Education serving as
Internal Auditor; the State of Alaska, as Internal Auditor/Financial
Analyst; and Boise Cascade Corporation as Senior Auditor.
Stacy is active in the Western Association of College and University
Business Officers (WACUBO), was a recipient of the Tribute to Women in
Industry award, 2001, and in 2003 received the Institute of Management
Accountant's Pacific Northwest Financial Executive of the Year Award.
