Tax Forms
Boise
State University prepares tax statements (Form
1098T) for our students every January reflecting the
amounts billed for qualified tuition and related
expenses and the amount of scholarships awarded
during the previous calendar year. The 1098T form
is sent out on or before January 31 by US Mail to
the mailing address you have on file at BSU. You
will need this form to take either the tuition and
fees deduction or claim an education credit on Form
1040 or 1040A for the qualified tuition and related
expense that were actually paid in 2006.
Students have the option to sign up to receive their
1098T form electronically. If you sign up for this
option, you will be notified when the tax forms are
available and will then be able to have the form
e-mailed directly to your BroncoMail account. You
will have access 24/7 to your 1098T tax information.
