Boise State University Students and employees are encouraged to utilize the Boise Area Crime
Stoppers program. Your call can make the difference on campus.
If you have information about a crime the has occurred on campus but wish to report the information
anonymously, call Crime Stoppers at 343-2677 or 343-COPS. Your information will be taken in
strictest confidence by specially trained personnel. Tipsters are issued code numbers to protect
their anonymity and never have to provide their name or personal information.
After several days, call back to Crime Stoppers and provide your confidential number and you will be
told if your tip helped to solve a crime. Tipsters that provide information that leads to an arrest
or filing of charges on any serious crime, location/recovery of stolen property, location/recovery of
illicit drugs, or the location of wanted persons is eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
These rewards are paid in a way that also protects the tipsters anonymity. In order to be eligible
for a cash reward, information must be provided to Boise Area Crime Stoppers.
