University Security

Boise State University Students and employees are encouraged to utilize the Boise Area Crime Stoppers program. Your call can make the difference on campus.

If you have information about a crime the has occurred on campus but wish to report the information anonymously, call Crime Stoppers at 343-2677 or 343-COPS. Your information will be taken in strictest confidence by specially trained personnel. Tipsters are issued code numbers to protect their anonymity and never have to provide their name or personal information.

After several days, call back to Crime Stoppers and provide your confidential number and you will be told if your tip helped to solve a crime. Tipsters that provide information that leads to an arrest or filing of charges on any serious crime, location/recovery of stolen property, location/recovery of illicit drugs, or the location of wanted persons is eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00. These rewards are paid in a way that also protects the tipsters anonymity. In order to be eligible for a cash reward, information must be provided to Boise Area Crime Stoppers.
