BSU’s pcard program has proven itself
beneficial to the university as a means of expediting payment to our
vendors, as well as empowering departments to better manage their
business processes, control expenditures, and to delegate spending
authority in a manner that facilitates day to day operations.
BSU
has over 900 cardholders, with purchases by the campus community
averaging approximately 1 million monthly.
With the convenience of pcard, there is also
an added responsibility for departments and cardholders to maintain the integrity
of the pcard program by understanding and adhering to pcard policy
and procedure.
Pcard purchases are of interest to auditors,
legislators, and the press.Be sure your purchase is in compliance before committing
funds.
If in doubt, ask before proceeding with your purchase. |
